Thank you for choosing Tashvi ("we," "us," or "our"). Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect sensitive user and device data when you use the Tashvi mobile app ("App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the terms below.

1Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

  • Account Data: Name, email address, phone number, shipping address (if you place orders).
  • Authentication Data: Password or tokens used for account access.

1.2 Sensitive Device & Usage Data

  • Device Identifiers: Unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFA/IDFV, UUID) for analytics and fraud prevention.
  • Diagnostics & Crash Data: Performance logs and crash reports to improve app stability.
  • Usage Analytics: Pages/screens viewed, feature interactions, session duration, and error rates (via Google Analytics for Firebase / Mixpanel).

1.3 Sensor & Media Access

  • Camera & Photos: With your permission, to allow you to share product photos or upload images for custom jewelry consultations. We only access the camera or photo library when you actively choose to use these features.
  • Bluetooth & Nearby Devices: If you connect to Bluetooth‑enabled jewelry (e.g., smart charms), only while the connection is active.

2How We Use Your Data

  • Order Fulfillment & Support: Process purchases, shipping, returns, and customer inquiries.
  • Personalization: Recommend products, tailor promotions, and save your favorites.
  • App Improvement: Analyze crash reports, usage patterns, and feedback to refine features and UI/UX.
  • Marketing & Communications: Send transactional emails (order confirmations) and, if you opt in, promotional messages about new collections and offers.
  • Security & Fraud Prevention: Monitor for unusual activity, secure accounts, and investigate potential fraud.

3Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Service Providers: Payment processors, cloud hosting (Google Cloud Platform/Firebase), analytics platforms, email delivery, and CRM systems—all under strict confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal Compliance: When required by law (e.g., responding to subpoenas or court orders), or to protect rights, property, or safety of Tashvi, our users, or the public.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice that your data will continue to be protected under this policy.

4Tracking & Advertising

  • Advertising Identifiers: We may collect IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) for ad‑based analytics or retargeting. You can reset or limit this in your device settings.
  • Third‑Party Ads: We rely on Apple's SKAdNetwork for attribution; we do not share users' personal data with third‑party ad networks.

5Data Retention & Security

  • Retention: We retain your account and order information for as long as you keep your account active or as needed to comply with legal obligations (typically up to 7 years for tax records).
  • Security Measures: Industry‑standard encryption (TLS) in transit, AES‑256 at rest, regular security audits, and strict access controls.
  • Breach Notifications: In the unlikely event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and regulators within 72 hours where required by law.

6Your Rights & Choices

  • Access & Correction: You can review or update your account information at any time via Settings → Profile.
  • Data Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing us at support@tashvijewels.com. We will comply within 30 days, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Opt‑Out of Marketing: Click "Unsubscribe" in any marketing email or adjust preferences in-app under Settings → Notifications.
  • Cookie & Tracking Controls: On iOS, you may disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track" in Settings → Privacy → Tracking.

7Children's Privacy

The App is intended for all age groups. For users under 13, we require parental consent before collecting any personal information. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and only collect minimal information necessary for app functionality. Parents can review, modify, or delete their child's information by contacting us at support@tashvijewels.com.

8Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time. When we do, we'll post the revised date here. Significant changes will be accompanied by additional notice (e.g., in-app banner or email).
